always take pictures of your vewhicles when you buy and when you have the restored. this way the insurance company can say the beforew and after and realize that you are the innocent one.

I don't know about "special, classic, or additional" insurance. But my insurance company says, without a receipt, and a certified appraisal my truck totals after $500.00 worth of damage. Yep, that's right, $500.00. What can you buy for 500.00? Yeah, exactly.

Insurance is one of the biggest rip offs. I have only liability coverage on my truck, and it's a flat rate... Insurance companies should have to pay fair market value, whatever it costs to replace the truck. Not just cop out at, oh or records indicate that vehicle is only worth 500.00.

I have seen several trucks in the 67-72 year range in much worse shape for mine with 2000 - 3500 price ranges on them. If insurance was fair they would pay that, or have to find you a replacement.

Who has an insurance company, or knows one that will do "Agreed Upon Value" or something like that that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I don't need 20,000 worth or anything, just like 3-5k.

Yes sir, make no mistake every stinkin' one of 'em...

Tell the Insurance Company adjuster that you want your truck REPAIRED AND NOT REPLACED (they get incentives on "low balling" people).

That's the Plain and Simple truth my Brothers...
