wow hadn't checked this thread in awhile and i come back to this!

fantastic, really just great.

the luster on the paint is perfect, i don't like the way these trucks look with a clear coat finish... too modern. that is dead on.

Thanks guys! I pick it up in the morning. Unfortunately, there are a few runs that he'll need to repair when I bring it back to him at the end of the month. He will be wet sanding and polishing the whole exterior. I am pleased with how straight the truck is. Pictures to come tomorrow!

I was only able to take 1 quick photo today as my iphone camera was acting up. I pulled the Edelbrock intake off and shipped it to another member. I have an Offenhauser DP I'll be installing this week when I get my intake heater plates back from being TIG welded. Then I'll assemble everything. I also have a Ford Carb spacer with water heat. I'm not sure if I'll run both the intake heat and water heat carb spacer. I don't want to have fuel boiling issues in the Az summer heat.

I swapped out my wheels and tires and got the Offenhauser intake and Autolite 4100 hooked up and a buddy adjusted it for me. I really like this truck!!! My 12 year old daughter and I washed the truck up this afternoon. She got creative with her camera and took these photos. My wife, who has been pretty silent, yet supportive of this project, gave me the seal of approval today. We got some thumbs up from others as we drove by today.

I had plans on putting power steering and power disc brakes on the truck. However, since it's a 67, the power brakes will be a big undertaking. Additionally, since the truck is a 3 speed on the column, swapping to power steering will be an undertaking as well. Oh well, I guess the truck will remain Armstrong steering and drum brakes.

I'm getting the truck wet sanded next week, and having a spray in liner shot in the bed in February.
