Steering wheel

I plan on installing a 78/79 tilt wheel automatic column in my 67 f100 will i be able to use the stock 67 wheel like the one below.

I believe the spline is the same but you'll have to trim the shaft to fit the horn assy.

As said by bobby. Just grind off the end of the shaft so the horn ring will go back on.

Thanks i always thought the later padded horn looked cheap

While the steering wheel will physically fit the shaft, the steering wheel's hub is smaller in diameter than the '78-'79 tilt column's, so not only would you have an ugly gap where you could see down into the steering column, but the nubs on the bottom of the early bumpside wheel spokes will hit the wider column hub. Here are a couple shots taken when I was investigating this very thing for my truck, discovering that it wouldn't work.
