Did u use 3" dropped I beams? I'm thinkin about going that route instead of a Crown Vic swap. I need to find a manual steering box for my 71 because I want to body drop it also and the power steering box is to close to the column.

Sorry guys about not updating but i haven't done much since i moved the truck out of the shop. I did build a bigger shop(30x50) so i can do my plasma business and start working on my truck again. I am also building a house so i have been so busy the f100 got neglected. I did get my doors done this winter i had a guy do them for me since i didn't have time. When i get all moved to my new place more work will be done on the truck i am close but oh so far. LOL

Well i got my f-100 on the trailer and got her to the new shop today! I hope to get back to work on it and get it finished soon. I charged the battery and put fresh in it and it fired right up and ran pretty good.

Finally getting back on my 68. I searched high and low for someone to enlarge my center hole on my dodge spares. In my area it seems no one wants to do any work i mean how hard is it to machine the center hole larger if you have the right equipment. I just plasma cut them and made a trim ring to make it look nice now i just need to paint them and get my tires(245-35-20)
mounted. I will be glad to see the wagon wheels and all-terrain tires go.

I figured i better test fit the wheels before i paint them and mount the tires. They fit with no problem here's a few pics with the center cap and bullet lug nuts should look real nice with fresh paint and tires. 100 times better than those white wagon wheels. LOL

I painted my wheels yesterday and got the tires mounted this morning. It sure made a difference, i put the fender on to see what it will look like and i like it! LOL

I started working on getting the hood mounted i got some mounts cut for the new hinges hope to get it mounted this coming week. I am going to bring my seat to get recovered next week.

I put my hood on and started to get the hood hinges figured out i hope to have it done this weekend. I used a extra window i had to get the hood level worked out great.LOL

I just about got the hood hinges done i just need to tighten up the firewall plate and hinge then i can mark the holes for the bracket that attaches the hinge to the hood. Don't pay any mind to the dirt dauber mud on the firewall.LOL

I got the hinge all finished up it wasn't too bad. Thanks to Marz on here for the idea to use these hinges. I had been putting off this part of the project cause i figured it was gonna be a pain but it was pretty easy. It should be really simple to mirror what i did for the other side. I just need to do a little clean up and grinding then powder coat them. Here are a few pics.
