They keep lying to us... We've barely gotten 10% of what the weather guessers have called for.

Too far west for most clippers or nor'easters, too far south east for most lake effect, too low for most mountain snow, too far north west for most ice storms...
I have lost my last three summers on the road. So im in a hurry for good weathet to get my year off the road. I really dobt want bad weather right now. Let it wait til next christmas please.
Flyboy I am glad you got to use yours. Everytime I have bought a snowblower it has refused to snow. Here in Northern Virginia we usually get a little bit of everything. So far it has not been bad at all. We still have another month to go though. Last year I had 10 inches still on the ground in March. I am keeping my fingers crossed for no snow.
A 27", 8.5 hp, 2 stage, 6 forward 2 reverse speed winter fightin' machine!
Got to use it last Wednesday too. That 1-3" they were calling for turned into 6.6" of the white stuff.

I know its great to get behind the handlebars of your snow blower and clear snow.
I love winter, and being in the U.P. a snow blower/plow truck/snow scooper is a MUST have item.
Where i live we average 16 + feet of snow a winter. West of me in the copper county there are places that average 25 + feet.
Ya...up here we measure snow in feet. We usually only have 3'-4' on average of snow cover where i live. Thawing, drifting, compaction (think glacier), so its not like snow canyons everywhere you go. Well...sometimes, but not always.
I find it kind of humorous that someone gets excited about 6" of snow. Thats a regular event around here.
It is in your perspective, if its not usual. its a big deal. Hey, we got 2' 3" in just over 30 hours in November. That was a big deal for me.
and as for you Californians....I'll keep my snow, and be happy, you can keep your earth quakes.

Living life full throttle on the North Coast of America!!!
When winter gets REALLY crazy in my neck of the woods, I may actually have to pull out this thing called an umbrella, but that is only a possibility a few times a year and even then, only when walking with a woman who just did her hair and doesn't want it messed up.
But thats only for about 10 more years until retirement and then getting out of this asinine state and moving to Idaho.
