Re: favorite actors movies
It seems that the movies we like date us.
A few of my faves are Rocky Horror, Dazed and Confused.
Tarrantino made a lot of movies that I like.
As far as actors go, John Turturro, Steve bescemi.
Clint Eastwoods spaghetti westerns are some of my favorites.
There is just too many to list or even remember.

Re: favorite actors movies
If you like swashbuckling Pirates love story "Cutthroat Island" starring Geena Davis and Mathew Modine is the movie. Action packed on the high seas and directed by Renny Harlin, this 1995 movie is my favorite Geena Davis film. Geena is not a wimpy woman in this movie, she is young and dashing and kicks butt in this film. A Box Office flop, why? don't know, as it's a good movie. Not right for the times I guess.

Another great movie is the 2003 "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" starring Sean Connery. In the year 1898 and Mina Murray (Pita Wilson) is recruited by Campion Bond (James Bonds grandfather) on behalf of British Intelligence and asked to assemble a league of other extraordinary individuals to protect the interests of the Empire. Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah), Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery), Dr. Jekyll and Hawley Griffin (Jason Flemyng) the Invisible Man (Tony Curran) with some other characters and fantastic machines and special effects. "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" was a comic started in 1999 and turned into a movie. this is the last film Connery before his retirement.
