Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection - Inspection near
Hey Pinche. New to the forum. New to rebuilding an old pickup, but your blog gave this former West Texas boy some encouragement to move further with 1971 SWB I recently purchased.
I grew up in Pecos, graduating from PHS in 1978. My first pickup was a 1972 Ford Ranger XLT. Ran a lot of fuel through that 390 running through the Davis Mountains. Wish I still had that pickup.
Interestingly, the old truck I bought was originally the same color as my first one.

If I inspired one person to fix and drive an old truck, then it was well worth it to me. Glad you are enjoying the blog and hopefully you will find some good info in there to help get yours running.

Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection - How to make a Pinche linkage
The truck is officially on the road. I still have plenty to do but for now it is running smooth as silk. I figured you fellas might need something like a Pinche linkage when you go to a Carter based carburetor:

Thanks! I actually put the whole mess on craigs list months ago. It sold in 9 hours and my phone was lit up for 2 months even though I deleted the post.Alstoyz wrote:Pinche. Love the video!!! Happy it didn't go to the crusher, but I could sure use some flareside fenders...

That's totally kewl. I have found some fenders and am in the process of getting them installed on the truck... It's actually been awhile since I've been on here myself... A buddy introduced me to the Facebook version and I've been lurking around over there...
