Re: power brakes
Pretty much it, yea. You'll need to find a vacuum source for the booster, mine is a "T" on the intake manifold. You'll need to get brackets for the booster. The MC will bolt to the booster just the way it does to the firewall. The brackets can come from a salvage yard, a member her may have a set you can buy, or you can get them here:Aurelio Landeros wrote:is that all?

Re: power brakes
Booster mounting brackets are available from the vendor mentioned above. However, I'm fairly certain the plastic boot that seals between the back of the booster and the engine side of the firewall is not included with those brackets.

Dentside donor boosters CAN be tricky to install, since there were variations of booster types. Some will connect directly to your existing brake pedal pin and some won't, without changing the entire pedal/pedal hanger assembly out.
I put a factory Bendix dual diaphragm booster in my '69 F100 that I pulled from a 1975 F350. I turned the donor booster in as a core for a newly rebuilt booster.
It connected directly to my '69 brake pedal pin without any changes or modifications.

This is the rebuilt booster I got.

Re: power brakes
I made the brake lines from my MC to the disc/drum brake valve, since my MC isn't stock to a Bumpside or Dentside truck --the MC is new and was for a '95 Ford Explorer, 1-1/16" bore (without cruise control), M10 x 1.0 primary port, M12 x 1.0 secondary port. Front disc brakes, I-beams and radius arms from a 1977 F100.
