shifter help

Post by blumoon »

I have a 72 f250 2wd pickup, and the column shifter has worn out, I was wondering if a tilt column out of a middle 70 ford E 250 van would work. Haven't had time to do any measuring as work keeps me way to busy, at least till it snows...They both have power steering. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.. :D

This refers to the '78-'79 trucks but supposedly, yes. http://www.fordification.com/tech/tilt.htm
