what tire size should I run?

Post by FrizzleFry »

I've got a 68 f100 that is getting a cv swap and a flipped explorer rear end. I'll be putting 17x8 Mach 1 Heritage wheels on that are 17x8 and I'm looking at tires that would best suit the truck once it is lowered. I'm considering 235/60 17. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :fr:

im in the same boat about to lower my truck and im thinking about something like 245/65 R18. but im also thinking about a lil wider tire in the rear since the rear axle pulls the tire in a lil or possibly a rim with a lil more negative offset.

With an 8" rim width, I'd probably go with LT265/70R17.

Oops! Just noticed that you're lowering, and I can’t delete my post. Probably don't want my tire selection; they probably won't fit!
