f350 front end vs f250

Post by idaford »

I have a 1969 f250 2 wheel drive that has a dually rear end that sombody installed before I got it. I want to put dually front wheels on it and was wondering if I need to change the spindles or just the hubs?

I'm not sure but when my brakes acted up I found that the '71 SRW F250 front caliper is smaller than the '70 DRW F350 front caliper. The 70 had a longer bolt hole length. I'd almost lay money that the hubs are going to use different bearings and even king pins. I guess you could search the wheel bearing use and see if at least they were the same. Not sure if the other dimensions are though.
