Well it seems that when the motor was rebuilt it was made into a long rod 390.
When I was tearing it apart I found a circlip in the oil pan from number 8.

Ok it's been a bit since I updated anything bout the truck so here goes
the block has been bored to 60 over found a 390 block and crank and rods for 150. My 360 now is a 401. The stock d2 heasds were wore out so I found a set of c1ae. Then my neighbor has a friend that drives a bump that has a 67-69 front clip I'm trying to get.

Funny how you can look far and wide for parts and one day they seem to appear out of nowhere. At least you are making progress.

Forgot to post this but the heads that I took in were c8ae instead of c1ae but they're wore out as well but they will have cj valves instead of stock and my d2teaa's I'm gonna try porting.Them it's a little closer to running.
I might have figured out how to fix the pos lowering job useing 4wd spring pockets and 3 inch springs and converting to discs from a dent.
