Like so.
But my 70 bump has a five row vin. Lookie..
What's up with this? Sucks someone sanded it all down.

Should I remove it to see if I can see the entire sequence of numbers and stuff on the back ? ..

Thanks a bunch for looking up that info for me 69FORD, much appreciated.69Ford wrote: I think I've just figured out what you have there. Ford made two vin tags one on the door and one for the glove box warranty Info The lower half looks exactly like the warranty tag. I'll bet they never got separated at the factory before being riveted to the door. Here's a pic of a warranty tag
Yes it is a dso.radioactivelarry wrote:I think you have a government or utility company bought truck. Take a piece of paper and a pencil and rub the pencil on it's side to make a "rubbing" and it looks like it may come out a lot clearer to read. Where did you buy the truck? What is the original color? Is it black with a blue interior?
The 3rd line last number "22" is a D.S.O. code indicating it was a vehicle built on a direct special order. No 22 means it was ordered in Charlotte. it's a F103 indicating a 4500 GVW. Looks like 170 HP @ 4100 RPM
Hope that somewhat helps.
Good luck........

What it all means, its all about the GVW.....That's why your plate says 4500 for the GVW.....EDVSU wrote:69Ford wrote:Ok so about the report. The vin plate says model F103.
My 69' says F100 bc it's an F100.
If it has F250 it's a F250.
So does that make mine an F103 instead of F100?
What does all this mean?
