F250 frames thicker?

F250 frames thicker?

F250 frames were made of heavier steel than the F100s, by about .030". The F100 frame is .171" thick (app. 7-gauge steel) whereas the F250 frame is .200" thick (app. 5-gauge steel).
I got this from the "Did you know?" bar at the top of the page.
Is that true for all of the 67-72 series?

As far as I know....but I haven't had one to measure from every year. I know the F250 frames ARE thicker than the F100 for all '67-'72 trucks, though right now I can't specifically verify the actual thicknesses of each. I got those measurements from a '68 F100 and a '67 F250.
