I haven't looked into lowering since I used to own a couple 61 Unicabs ages ago...so I'm a bit rusty on what's out there now, and I just saw a nice Ranger for sale that had used "Dream Beams" front and rear lowering kit, looked nice, and I have never heard of them before.
Has anyone here used them, if so what did you think? Does anyone have a top suggestion for bolt on lowering kits? I'm not looking for a radical lead sled drop, or big budget killer stuff, just bolt in/swap out high quality and give the truck a great look (for my 67 Shortbox Ranger).
Thanks!

Yes, Dropped I beams very common. For the same price or less and just a little more work most people are doing the crown vic front suspension swap. Way better suspension than the I beam.

DJM beams will net a 3" drop in the front. A 2003-2011 Crown Victoria front suspension will net between 5"-6" drop.

Re: LOWERING--"DREAM BEAMS?"
I have read a few of the Crown Vic swap threads, I agree probably really is the way to go overall, but I don't have any kind of a shop currently so I really need a bolt in and go set up, I don't even have air or air tools, probably have to have my mechanic put it in so that's why I'm looking for the best out there that's unpack and bolt up.
I never seem to know anyone who uses Fatman stuff, is it just too high buck for everyone or...?

Then, the DJM components will be your best bet .....until when/if you decide to do something different.Dan wrote:I have read a few of the Crown Vic swap threads, I agree probably really is the way to go overall, but I don't have any kind of a shop currently so I really need a bolt in and go set up, I don't even have air or air tools, probably have to have my mechanic put it in so that's why I'm looking for the best out there that's unpack and bolt up.
