Man those cast iron engine parts (manifold) are heavy!
I'm pretty sure you can pull the heads with the exhaust manifolds installed. Gonna be heavier but you'll save the aggravation of the bolts. Soak the top ones in PB blaster for a couple days and see if you can turn them a little. If so, more juice and some heat. I'll take time but they will come off without breaking. If they do break they're not terribly difficult for a machine shop to remove or drill straight through and use a nut to retain the bolt.lloyd70cs wrote:Not necessarily.
