Dropping the truck an inch or so.

This is how it sits today. I want to lower it an inch all around. I know I can cut the front coil but in the rear I have the ford factory overload spring bracket thing. Not real sure what it is. Can I just flip the front hanger or will that be more than an inch drop?

I'm not sure about the rear overload spring bracket. But I think I'm going with Crown 2 inch lowering springs in the front and have the beams bent to correct the camber. Then use spring hangers or shackles to lower the rear 2-3 inches. That's about as much drop as I want.

Here's a way to lower the front end 2".i did it rides great.

You can move and or flip your hangers to drop it an inch.

When I bought mine I found them on clearance for $24. And at the time I made the thread on the install they were going for $35 (Have u read the thread yet?) right now they are $50

Looks like a few people have bought the springs to do the conversion :)

A big, fat Significant Other would do the trick. Warmth in the winter, shade in the summer...
