Oreillys auto parts has a rebuilt gearbox around 200$ so you have a power steering column? Manual column is to long.

If it's the Bendix box, it'll swap right over. If it's the Saginaw box, the manual steering column will need to be shortened 2". Here's how to done it: http://fordification.com/tech/steering-column.htm
