There is a guy in my town that two years ago wanted to buy my 70 F350 flatbed dump. He owns a local paving company and has many Ford cars and trucks for his business and his pleasure, a true Ford guy. In March I saw a meadow green 55 f350 for sale near Erie, PA on Craigslist. It is the same color as my 54 F100 so I just had to have it! I emailed the owner and waited for his reply.
The very next day at NAPA I see the guy that wanted to buy my 70. He says ,"are you ready to sell me your truck?" I said "as a matter of fact I am, provided I can buy the truck I am looking at now." The next day the guy from Erie called about the 55. A couple of days later I took my 70 to the pavers shop. He looked it over, drove it, put the bed up and down,.... and we agreed on a price. I then called the guy from Erie and we agreed on a price. I told him I wanted to drive it home. It was licensed as a farm truck so he said he will get it inspected, tuned up, change the oil, etc at his expense.
In early April I drove up to the town of Northeast, PA and got it. I have been happy ever since. So sorry to leave my friends here but I always wanted a 53-56 flatbed. I bought the 70 Bumpside in 2012 cause the price was right and I needed a work truck.
The day I first saw it and bought it

How it looks now.
