Ok, back on the list after years of trying to find how to register my Dad's old truck. Now starts the fun, need to find a good body shop in Pensacola.
Anyway, my front end I beams are REAL worn out, same stuff since truck was new in 71, never been changed. I have a 71 camper special with front disks. So, I found a guy that rebuilt his I beams on his 67, new kingpins, bushings and clean them up, he also rebuilt the drum brakes, then swapped them out for a a set of disk brake I beams from a 76. So question is, if I get these, would my 71 disk brake stuff bolt right up to the 67 I beams?
thanks

Re: drum to disk swapage
using this, http://fordification.com/tech/discbrakes01.htm the 67 and my 71 F 250 kingpins are the same size. My question is, since these are from a 67 F 250, would the 4 bolt pattern on the hub be the same as the hub for a 71 F 250?
thanks

Re: drum to disk swapage
Did some more home work. The inner and outer wheel bearings for the 67 F 250 drum brakes are the same for the 71 F 250 disk brakes. So I am thinking that the spindals are the same between the two. So, new I beam time
