This is how it should be situated --tapered sides facing upwards.

....while you have the cargo light out to flip it over, you could also convert it to double as a 3rd brake light with a red/white switchback LED, an 1157 style dual element socket, a few feet of wiring and some electrical terminal ends.Warren Design wrote:duly notedultraranger wrote:VERY nice looking truck! the bed kicked my ass......... yes, they are bedsides. They came in front and rear halves, the lower areas were very nice, but the "bump" was basically bent with a brake. The angles were inconsistent, as were the measurements on the bends, and they looked like bananas when eye-balled down the side. I discovered the "crease" under the bump is the most critical line on the truck. I have referred to the bump and the crease as my 32 feet of hell, but persistence pays and it came together. I made the 8 pieces that make up the 4 corners of the inside of the bed, and beat the dents out of the wheelwells.......... at one point I had 17 pieces of bed lying around unassembled. Did I mention the bed kicked my ass?hazelnut wrote:In the second to last picture. Is that the lower bedsides layed down on there side ?
If it is I bet they were fun to remove and replace.
