Re: 1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating
Had some welding to do on the axle housing. It was just for aesthetics, there was some pitting that showed once I started cleaning that I didn't like. Now that is done I can finish off the grinding and sanding, then pull the axle shafts and brakes. Then a coat of paint and get the new U-Bolts and cleaned brackets installed. Hopefully I can have it hung from the springs by next Friday and start cleaning the front axle.

Got the rear axle broken down, re-installed the hubs and wheels. Wheeled the axle out of the garage and power washed it. Came out pretty good. The axle is in good shape. Hope to get it sanded and painted this week. Also got the front axle power washed.

Re: 1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating
Got the rear end painted and found the yoke is damaged. Did locate a new one on Amazon and a guy on FTE is looking to see if he has one. I am hoping for the later since that would be cheaper.

Looking great curious to know how tall your frame will be sitting with new stock springs and all when you get done. Keep it going your almost to a roller!!!

I am shooting for about 2 inches over stock. That replaces the rear 4" blocks and hopefully gives it an even ride.
