Well, I have yet to do anything major or frame-off, I am still fixing the previous owners' "fixes". Also this is driven quite a bit so I cannot take it down and do a frame off yet, so what you see is work done while the truck is being driven.

This forum has made me want to do a tear-down like Keiths.. guess I'll have to get a bigger compressor, sandblaster, and pressure washer... I have a welder already.

Sometimes you find things that make you laugh, and other times make you wanna cry.
Looks like a good truck.Keep on it and it will come together.
Looks like you figured out a lot of stuff about these old trucks before you found this place.
We are here to help if we can, and learn too if you have any tricks/tips to share.

That is my kind of truck. Functional! Once you put AC in it you are done. I love my shortbed. Perfect for running around town. Easy to park. Too ugly for someone to try and steel. Functional!
