Now I have to get the Drivers Side Vent removed . Then I am going to try and remove the Firewall Mat in one piece. I really hope to be able to reuse it if at all possible.

Make sure you are very patient and take it slow with the removal of the firewall pad. I wish you success!

Thanks Popeye, I am trying to save those dang plastic clips and they are resisting my attempts of removal.

Got the cab rolling and the wife and I got to cleaning.

Now the inside is cleaned and we can start working on the floor patch.

It is crazy good. I bought the truck out of the north shore Boston area 16 years ago. The story is nuts. The first time I saw this truck it was 5 miles from my house in MA on the south shore. I left my name on the windshield and never got a call. Then it was gone. I found it for sale in the "want ad" and the wife and I went and looked at it and bought it without the engine. Then we trucked it MD. The truck came from CA with original cab mount floor braces and cab corners all intact. The floor needs a patch due to someone leaking rags on the floor.

I know a lot to read but funny how it came full circle.

It's funny how these old trucks will constantly resurface, whether it's someone who just doesn't have time, someone who looses interest quickly, or a highschooler buying something that runs and sells it as soon as something goes wrong.
Glad you ended up with such a good one in such great shape! Still can't wait to see it once it's done!

That cab is amazing on the solid. I have never seen vents that looked like that Jealous to say the least!! Glad you having a chance at some headway!!!

Hi guys. I was going thru parts and found a Brand New set of Dana 44HD Large Knuckle Wiper Seals and Flexible Front Brake Lines. If anyone needs them let me know and I will make you a deal.

Still going through parts and cleaning. Been to hot to crank up the welder to do the floor patch. I am amazed at how much stuff I have. As soon as I get through the rest I will post some pics and you guys can let me know if you need anything. I would love to pass this stuff on to help your projects!
