Very nice SB.
About your bench seat; is that a 67-72, or 73-79?
Did you do the re-cover? If so who was the vendor?

That's the original 72 bench seat frame out of the truck that was in terrible shape as far as the covering and foam goes. I spoke with a local upholstery shop about recovering it and they explained how it was originally covered and sold me the foam and backing material for it.
I bought a covering from NPD i believe it was and recovered it myself. It's the first one I've attempted and i'm happy with the results of it.

Went junkyarding today and managed to find these items for my truck. One of my grille inserts is broken so i went looking for one and came out with two for really cheap. The Gauge bezel is something I've been looking for for a while and I do believe it's the last one in existence in this area other than the one in my dads old F650 and he knows I know about it and is guarding it with a shotgun... the gauges themselves were shot and no longer savable but the wiring harness was intacted and i got the connector for it as well.
Now I can work on my custom gauge setup for the truck.

I made it back to the salvage yard today or junking as I like to call it and brought home two steel instrument clusters with the vacuum gauge in them and the every elusive wiper delay switch and control box so I can finally get the wiper delay i've been missing with this truck.

Yesterday for the first time in a long time I was able to make it to the Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway with my youngest daughter(13 year old) to look at all the" Like new items" according to the sellers that were in really bad shape... I was on the hunt for some 10.5 inch dog dishes for my truck and a set of the west coast mirrors for it as i like those mirrors for some reason. Didn't have any luck on the dog dishes but as I looked around I spotted and was completely distracted by a whole box hub caps to look through. My daughter was very interested in the things I was looking for and I had shown her pictures and pointed them out on some of the trucks in the car show so she would know exactly what i was looking for. Well with my attention on the box of hubcaps I walked right by the very set of mirrors i was looking for and she spotted them and brought one over to show me what she had found.
I grabbed the other one up and managed to get them for a great price as well!
One is probably going to need new glass due to someone trying to get some light scratches out but I'm going to see if a friend of mine who works with auto glass can polish it out first.
