Vin tag lost

So my highboy doesnt have the daya plate on the door. I know the vin number but how do i find out all of the rest of the info like color, axel info ect.

I also recommend the Marti Report. Even though I modified my truck from stock, I still bought one just to know mainly what dealership originally sold it. I figured most likely it came from a dealership in Houston, but it turns out that it was sold in the next town over, only 15 miles away! Pretty amazing that in 50 years, that truck is only 15 miles away from where it was sold new! That's pretty cool to me.

Hi,
Twenty years ago when I bought my truck.... You could send your VIN to Ford and they would reply with a data sheet for free.... Not sure if they are still providing this service.
