Looking for good metal for 1967-1972 hood
Looking for a piece of the hood metal that is right under the R and the D badging

I just threw one away.
1967 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.
1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.

i have a 72 hood that i could cut that piece off for you,but wont be able to get to it for about a month,under 3ft snow right now,

For that ding on the leading edge, why don’t you visit a couple good body shops, and see if it can be popped out - maybe with those weld-on, slide hammer thingamajigs.
