What happened to the Dentside Forum?

Hey all, it's been a few years since I was on here.

Is the dentside forum still up? I go to https://www.fordification.net/forums/index.php and I just get a 404 not found. There's a homepage with the technical links, but is the forum gone?

I dont know. Sometimes I get the “404” for unknown reasons. I imagine it as someone is working on the site.

That link just takes me to the home page with the technical info links, but there's no link there for the forums that I can see.

I should make it clear I don’t know for sure, but I think the forum is turned off.

There during the last time we were overrun by spammers there were literally thousands of spam post...

I think it died because there were no mods.

The automated spam has been horrendous here the past couple weeks. You guys don't see it because new member need approval to post and it eats up the mods time to contribute.

You aren’t kidding, i really want to ban 37.*.*.* but I’m afraid i might catch someone legitimate.

I was just deleting the posts but then noticed that if I didn't ban them that another batch of posts showed up a week later.

Yup that happens when I don’t ban them too, plus I’m about 60% on the IP ban letting me in... of course they are hopping IP all over the globe but there is a lot of netblock 37 and 41...

BTW if anyone wants to see what it would look like if we didn’t delete the spam hop on over to OLDSmobility... (don’t click on anything)
