hello all,
Ive been checking out this awesome site for awhile and i finally registered and this is my 1st post. I tried looking around as not to waste anyone's time in case this question has been asked. I can score a fairly low mileage 1990 f350 cab & chassis dually for free. I believe it has a 4.9L which is in running order. It was a former company truck, there is no title, not one panel that doesn't have a dent, including the roof. My plans were rather straight forward. Hunt down a bumpside cab and i guess use a used utility bed or just fab up a flatbed. i owned a '70 f250 years ago and miss her! I enjoy welding and dont mind bodywork but didnt want to cut apart a decent cab to just to make this work. If thats the case i would just pass on taking the truck. I wasnt looking to make a show truck. it would be used at my cabin for hauling firewood and general yard cleanups. I would love to hear someones thoughts or suggestions.
will a 67-72 cab "fit" on a 1990 f350 chassis?
