Re: heater box
According to the diagram in the tech section, the same heater was used from '65-'72. The only difference would have been the location and style of the cable control knobs.http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... heater.jpg

Re: heater box
The motor or squirrel cage may be smaller on the 67. I tried to find Sarge's AC unit rebuild. I was trying to remember what heat resistor he was able to use. I couldn't find it, thought he did a technical article. ?? I can't remember when he wrote it, the memory was the 2nd thing to go. !!

Re: heater box
odd how lmc has the 67 resistor, but not the 68-72's. my original 67 fan motor would spark on high assuming the brushes are getting bad. the 72 motor and cage bolted right in and works good. thanks everyone

Re: heater box
Here ya go! http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =8&t=80023 However, the AC resistor is different than the stock heater resistor. Same interchange thought probably works though. Check the '67 Mustang, Cougar, Fairlane and E100 van resistor. If they look the same, they probably fit. Here's a snapshot from the MPC. '65-'69 trucks and vans used the same resistor. The major differences I've seen are the hole spacing for mounting, the position of the terminals and how far the coils stick into the case. On the position of the terminals it's the location of the single terminal as relates to the other group of 3 terminals. I used a '70 Torino AC resistor in my AC rebuild. The coils stuck further into the case but there was enough room that they didn't interfere with the blower cage.
