Wanted - Coil spring upper retainer.
I am in need of a coil spring upper retainer for a '71 F-100, 2WD. Does anyone have one? I have looked everywhere online and came up empty.

Did you give Green Sales a call, (memory serves me correctly you'll find this part is no longer in production or bing repopped)."derek7871"I am in need of a coil spring upper retainer for a '71 F-100, 2WD. Does anyone have one? I have looked everywhere online and came up empty.

I'd also not rule out having to fab this part yourself. I can't remember if there were nuts spot welded to the strap or not, (or if the strap even had nuts on it)? Pretty sure I had to make this for my 76' Early Bronco when I installed the 6" lift kit.
Part number 5B300 in this image?

I called Green Sales and they did not have any. I ended up just making one. The original does have the nut welded on the bottom of the strap.

Is it different from the 4wd one? I know that the 4wd version is available in the aftermarket. Usually listed for the Bronco, but same thing.

Yea...the 4WD one is different. It's closer to a 90 degree bracket. I ordered one a while back and it was pretty different than the 2WD one.
My son has been learning to weld, so he welded the broken one and we installed it. So far, so good. It's still in there.
