Thanks for comments on the welds.I wished all of them looked that good. Installed new rear axle bearings and painted 4 link bars and sway bar.

That is going to be a sweet ride. I don't have the knowledge/experience to do anything like that but it is sure nice to see what someone could do to one of these ole trucks.

Cleaned up 3rd member and sprayed with black rustoleum. It already had paint on it so just a rough up and paint. I cleaned axle, degreased, metal prepped and then painted with POR15.Amazon dropped off some rotors today so installed and put calipers on. That POR smell gets to me so called it a night.

This passenger side floor pretty good shape for 50 plus years old. Drivers needs a bit more work , but not full replacement.

Wow! It looks great! That boxed in frame should be plenty strong. Probably even stronger than original.
At least you don't have to put an entire floor pan in also. 3 months is a long dedication to one part of a project, but your patience will pay off.

Cleaned rear frame, POR degreased, metal prepped and painted with semi gloss black. Ran out of paint so I will have to let dry and re scuff. The plan is to get the axle under it after the second coat and then remove the cab and do the remaining part of the frame. Ordered sheet metal for the cab- front mounts, driver floor pan, cross brace pieces for both sides and inner and outer cab corners. Also ordered mustang EFI gas tank, but on backorder until mid April or May.
