I’m not in a big rush. I just don’t want to bend it back and then have a leak in two years. A little bend I would just straighten out, they should swap it out being it arrived that way. It’s always something!

Fitted passenger side cab mount, cleaned all holes of epoxy primer and sprayed 3M weld through primer. Installed. The passenger side needed very little modification to be installed.Cab is ready to be flipped back down and start on the cab corners.

Thanks Paul. I cut out passenger cab corner. The fit is pretty good, but it seems like the lower flare of the cab corner is not as pronounced as the door so I an going to hang the door back on to make sure those match.The rear rocker area is pretty rusty, but nothing is through and I have to stop somewhere LOL!

Sandblasted the inner patch panels for Epoxy primer and found the new panel cracked. Welded up the crack and brushed two coats of epoxy primer. The primer is probably the only thing that will be holding these thin poor quality patch panels together in a few years.

Installed passenger cab corner. These panels are so thin I had to turn the welder all the way down to 1 to keep from blowing through the metal. This will not be a show truck, but if it was I would have to find something different. It is still a lot of work to do and then to be using crappy parts is a bit bothersome. If they would make them true 18 gauge metal it would be ok, these are 20 gauge thickness for sure.

The drivers side corner is in better shape so decided to do a lot less of it. I am going to try to do the area in the sharpie.

your welds look a whole lot better than mine did. I'm not a very good welder but i a damm good grinder Keep up the good work.
