1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating

I got the truck turned around. I need to pull the core support back off and do more cleaning again. Feels good to get something done! I also toke a road trip yesterday to buy a set of 25 mile tires for my 2016 f150 daily. Awesome deal at $600 for all 4! Got them mounted and balanced today, truck actually rides so much better.

It was a fantastic deal for sure. I did get out to the garage again on Monday and worked till I was soaked in sweat. Got some junk sorted out and trash thrown away. It is funny how just turning the truck around seems to have made more room? Still have some more stuff to sort out and pull the wiring harness off the shelf for installation to begin.

I plan on spending time in the garage this weekend to stay out of the rain and possibly done something!

So I did get out to the Garage on Sunday. Pulled the Electrical Box down for storage. Started laying out the 3G Alternator and seeing how it fits on the Engine. I need to install the Water Pump and get my Brackets installed. Need to find my bottom pulley and upper Alternator Bracket. Funny how easy it was to find the long Alternator Bolt and Spacer was to find since cleaning.

I will hopefully have some progress pictures to post. Did some more work last night and plan on getting some done today.

Got the Alternator mounted finally. Found an issue with the alignment of the bottom Pulley, I have a new Balancer and it came with a single Pulley, and when I removed it and installed the correct three Belt Pulley. So I made a shim and got the alignment corrected.

Finally got the Brackets installed and alignments all look good now.

I have hit a motivation road block. I need to double down on making a plan and getting my butt in gear on this project again.

Absolutely no progress at all. I am tied up with work and holidays, so hoping for after Christmas I can get back into the Garage!
