So I got the ho,es drill for the upper straps. I also got started on the layout for the lower straps.

And now I have been away for work and no time on the truck. On top of that we started to have our [censored] remolded after waiting 10 years. I will be back in the garage next month I am sure.

I finished the upper and lower tank straps. They are installed and hold the tank perfect. Now I have to get that skid plate done. Six more holes to layout and drill. Then I think wiring will be next.

I have started working on the Skid Plate. The original mounting tabs have to be altered for my application. They were bent at 90 degrees and will need to be straightened out to give the proper clearance and easy of installation.

Got the rear of the skidplate mounted and the brackets for the front made. Just have to mount them and then drill the crossmember. House work is the priority right now but should be back on it soon.

Finished the brackets and just have three holes to drill and the skid plate will be done!

Still working on the three holes. Have to move a bunch of stuff off the truck so I have access. We are done with cabinets and plumbing in the redone [censored]. Have to finish the floor and do paint. Also building an island/counter.

House work is going forward. Have not been out to the garage at all for the truck.

Still no updates on the truck, but house work is coming along!

Slow moving in this humid weather. I did find a great deal on a switch panel on Amazon Prime Day.

I finished the fuel tank skid plate finally. Did a little rearranging and looked at the doors that I am going to use. I do need to fix some rust in the corners, but have doors that I can get patches from. Those doors have other larger issues!

Doing some clean up around the garage. Wife and I made a scrap run and put some money in the truck fund snd cleaned as well!

Now I just need some quality time to work on the TRUCK! Funny how many things get in the way!
