Battery tray setup

Post by Ferris95 »

I am putting my engine bay back together, and I can’t for the life of me figure out where that little 5 inch metal bracket that is angle on each end goes? I’m sure I’ll have other questions as I go along here! Thanks!

Hmmm. I don’t know. I just went down and looked at mine, and can’t find that part. Mine is the original battery tray and the only thing I’ve done was cut out some rust and weld in a patch. I don’t remember removing that part.

That should go from the outside hold down bolt to the top of inner fender rail.

The part is a brace from inner fender to the battery bolt. There is a captive nut in the inner fender. I believe its purpose is to stabilize the battery.
