Post by BigRedTruck »

i need something similar to a flexible refrigerator magnet...the bendy type that business give you, but much larger to organize parts on. Does anyone make something like this?

You can get that magnet material in sheets at craft supply stores:

thanks I'll be getting those for my larger bolts, can't find boxes suitable enough. The subassemblies I'm working with are easily confused lots of similar screws and washers.

I was touring the aircraft boneyard here in Tucson and snapped this photo of the assembler's fastener cabinet. Kind of a neat way of keeping track.

I scored some refrigerator magnet sheets on ebay for low $$$.You can get thinner ones at Wal-Mart or craft shops.

I can't wait to get some room in the car port to start organizing the place so I can find something. I have my Camaro in there right now and I have crap everywhere. I hate being disorganized.
