Before you throw the book at the EPA and the "greenies" read a little closer. I've been following this since it first got started.

This entire bunch of :bs: was started by a group of auto collision shop OWNERS (mostly corporate), who felt they were losing too much income to do-it-yourselfers and the smaller 1 or 2 man shops. They just brought in the EPA to help steamroll things (which has happened, as now the community groups are getting in on it too)

This isn't about protecting the environment so much as it IS about corporate greed.

Hey don't we have a voice in this? Can't somebody get a lawyer to file an injunction siting this sort of thing? Basicly this law states that unless it is in for insurance jobs or you pay out the wauzoo anything pre 96 or 95 will not be able to get a paintjob.

And it'll be all miracle and or Earl Schibe. The suckiest out there.
They should have to get a law stating that they have to paint everything and have a regulated price.

Does this also mean you'll have to get professionals to paint your house?
