I just finished my interior in my 67 mercury. I put in new underlay and brand new carpet, put in a new seat, capped the dash board and re-did the steering column with original parts exceprt for the new stearing wheel. I also put in some chrome petals, shifter boot and a brand new sterio. Check it out, see what you think!

Hey,looks real good!!I'd like to see more pics of it....I'm about fixin' to do mine but still have to make some final decisions....What did you use for carpet underlay and what type of carpet?....Did it quiet things down in the cab?...

I used underlay with a water proof backing and I used normal automotive carpeting that I cut to fit. You do not have to buy the original carpeting, it easy enough to make your own with a little bit of time
