Two more personal project update pages posted

Over the past couple weeks I've been doing a little here and there on my truck, just not enough to warrant a new update page. However, it was time to get everyone back up to speed with what I've been up to, including today's activities. Therefore, two new pages have been posted:

Page 62 - Working on the new pickup box
(Two days worth of updates) - Details the outside cleanup of the box and the patch panels being cut and fit

Page 63 - Welding up the bed seams and trim holes
(Two days worth of updates) - Shows what I was up to Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. Also a brief explanation about how/why I'm going to be painting my truck...with a roller! ;)

Hey Keith-lookin' good! I have a question however. You prefer to remove paint with a right angle grinder verses chemical paint stripping. Does the abrasive in the sanding disc scar the metal? It seems to me that it would and then that requires heavy primer to fill the tiny scratches all over the truck. Why not chemical stripping? rick...

Looks like you have it figured out. I'm getting ready to tackle the same things with filling the holes and welding up the seams.
1969 Ford F-100. 302 4 barrel, C4 auto, 9in 3.50 open rear, headers, power steering, Turq/wht, Under restoration. In other words, in a million pieces!!!

There is no Replacement for Displacment!!!
