this is the 71 ford f100 custom LWB.

This is what I have to start with. im trying to add most of the cost in but there is alot of other stuff I need to add up with the reciepts, like brake fluid and engine degreaser , brake cleaner, ect.

Image

20060506 - Bought the truck ($400), had it towed for ($130), bought battery for ($59).

20060606 - taped up the seats and cleaned the interior found the rusted through floorboards and cab mount metal.

20061006 - replaced the right wheel cylender (bought all 4 $56), short hard line ($3?) and cleaned up all the brake parts along with packing the wheel bearing. ($10?)

20061406 - replaced the brake light switch on the pedal. ($10)

20061506 - black plated the truck with antique tags. Gotta wait to get off work and put them on. DMV actually got me in quickly on my lunch brake. and I love going in Uniform. Everyone respects you so much.

pics will be up later tonight

I wish I did. it is a 18-55mm nikon lense. I have a couple of nikon lenses. but that is the one I used hooked on to a Nikon D-50

the last side shot of the truck is full at 18mm I was right up against the neighbors house just a couple feet from the truck, so it definatly does wondering for close qourters.

It's funny how I had a 68 with a plywood floor but the bed was clean. It looks like you have a clean bed there. What's your big-picture idea for it?

I would like to make it look alot nicer by getting the body all straight again and fixing the rust. I still want to use it as a truck though. so im not going to spend alot of money on a paint job or anything but I will make it look nice at the same time. I might fix it up real nice and sell it. I seem to do that alot with cars. I buy a desirable vehicle with problems then fix them up nice and turn around and sell them and on to the next project.
