Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection - Body Work On
Doesn't appear to be much done since my last post but spent mucho time on the adjustment of the body mounts, panels and switch out the aluminum grill that was bent for the $40 steel one.

lookin' good with the body work on there.
nothing more frustrating and time consuming than shimming/aligning body panels. but if you don't do it, it drives ya crazy.

What I don't get is the bump to bump on the cab is wider than the bump to bump on the bead. They will not match up from driver to passenger side.motzingg wrote:lookin' good with the body work on there.

I believe it is. From looking at this drawing http://www.fordification.com/tech/images/bb70/p143.jpg it appears to be in design. The cab dimensions never got uploaded to the tech section but it looks like it here.

Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection - Body Work On
Sad thing is that it only took me a few minutes to figure that out and given the situation I sill can't get it centered on the cab after 2 days of work. So the drivers side of the cab is going to stick out more than the passenger side. If any body asks or mentions it, I will simply say "it's impolite to ask about farm accidents"sargentrs wrote:I believe it is. Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection - Body Work On
Going with the steel grill that is on there now. I like the beat up look even though it is dead level straight and doesn't have a dent in it. Rears are 275 R60 15's, Fronts 245 R60 15's. Not sure about the offsets of the wheels. Got them of the donor truck and the tires were on them.GOODOLEBOY84 wrote:what wheels do you have and what sizes, also what tire size? truck looks good, are you keeping the aluminum grille?
