Flipped cab back. My Son and I were able to do it. The front mounts are completely shot. I bought these inner cab corner pieces and not real happy that they are not the full piece especially @ $150 a pair!! I sent F100 flashbacks the same picture to see what they say.

Dang, those look to be unfinished. 150 seems real high for a fairly easy piece?

Removed drivers side cab mount. Started working on drivers front rocker and lower front door post. The inner and outer front rocker panels are both gone so will need to fab those up. The Tabco lower front door post patch panels I think are for a 73-79 F100. I looked for patch panels for the 67-72 but no one has them? So I used what was left of the old one and cut up the new one to fit. I will have to fab the seal flange part of it.

Talking with Tom from Flashback F100 nobody makes the lower door post for the 67-72 year. You need to get one out of a donor truck which I would highly suggest. I made it work, but still need to do the seal lip.

Flashback f100 did get back to me and to get clean forward door post corners it is $225 a side plus shipping. I have $10 dollars into my repair so I guess I will do the same on the other side. Fabbed up inner kick panel with 18 gauge and forward rocker panel with 14 gauge. That is what originals are. Waiting for some seam sealer from amazon to show up and will get them installed. Then onto floor pan.

Nice work... Don't know why they don't make that pc. most all of us in the "Rust Belts" have had to fix this problem. Keep up the good work

Awesome metal work. Your repairs are most likely going to be better than any aftermarket panel you can buy. And they would still need modification to work!

Thanks. Went to paint shop and got epoxy primer to coat all the bare metal. I also got color book out and got a couple of paint samples to touch up my repairs. I researched forest service green and the current color is osha green which I painted the entire plate but that does not match. It was not the color in 1969. So I took a piece of the truck to match and I think the lower color 451 is a good enough match.

Removed passenger side cab cross brace. The inner rocker panel was also rusted through where it meets the cross brace. Fabbed up the inner rocker patch and then fit the new cross brace repair channel.

Coated the inside of repair panels and repairs with epoxy primer 2 coats. These piece should outlast the rest of the truck!
