Thank you Keith
Thanks very much for all your time and effort, Keith. Life was rough without my daily Fordification fixes!! The graphic of the stick man pounding on the keyboard was hilarious too

You have grown to be a very popular site. It nay be time to consider switching to a different host.Clarko wrote:Hey Keith, Ever thought of switching to vBulletin?
I always hear of problems associated with phBB.
I am glad the forums are back.
I know it will take time, but we'll be here with you.

Thanks
A big thanks Keith. Boy how it's grown huh? From just the original handful to the gazillions on here now, and you've done it all with just a little help and a lot of coffee, baling wire, and a supportive spouse.

re: FORDification is BACK ONLINE!
Whoops....had a slight hiccup again this afternoon. I checked in at lunchtime and everything was working fine. Since everything has been working great for the past few days, my wife and I decided to go out tonight, since it's actually pretty rare that we both have the same nights off. We got a babysitter and went out.
Just got home 20 minutes ago to find that the forums were down again. It was a fairly minor error in the database, only took a minute to fix....again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Man! I'm thinking it's about time I find a php guru who I can keep on-call for me 24/7, just for such instances as this!

re: FORDification is BACK ONLINE!
While working on the problem this evening, it's starting to look like the Photo Gallery files are what's been causing the problems we've been experiencing and not the forum files like I originally thought...so the Photo Galleries have been temporarily disabled. I'll be working to get the problem diagnosed in the very near future and will get the Galleries back online shortly. Thanks for your patience.
