Thanks!! Fairly new paint and a fresh coat of wax sure do make it look pretty!!

Nope, just a regular performer, and I got an Eddie 750 4bbl that the guy I got this truck from is borrowing to "dial-in"a Buick 455. Also the offy 6-pack intake I bought at a swap meet, but I dont' have the extra grand or so for the carbs. The rear 2 ports have been "bored" out, presumably to fit a different style carb, but other than that is pretty slick.

And just a minor update.....

I have put new drums, shoes, hardware, and adjusters up front, along with a 1-ton booster with a custom bracket, removed the rack and the big orange strobe light, got all the dash brackets off, and started to figure out the rat's nest wiring that goes to god knows what.

Also I got a 78 2x 3/4 ton and am gonna snatch the inner fenders and radiator support out of for future use in the 72, along with the power steering.

My uncles flatbed is a 73, but after 15 minutes or so the 360 loses all oil pressure, and his body is way more rusted than mine, so I hafta pass on that one :D

As soon as I get off of my parents computer and get mine back I'll have some more pics....

Tim P, that's just the regular Perfomer, no RPM....

So my PC crashed, I'm on the old folks computer so I can't upload pics, but I got a whole front clip from a 79 F-150 for $100 bucks, so I have my new radiator support and inner fenders right there, and also just got new floor boards and cab mounts from LMC.

I said to hell with the black dodge, I don't need 2 pick-ups, and as soon as winter is over the plow is coming off the Ford and going onto a ramcharger/toyota mud runner thing I got.

I'm also gonna use the rear spring hangers off the dodge, and the new 4" lift springs, and put them on the Ford. I'll hafta get a new longer main leaf for the front made, and also narrower hangars for the front, but that shouldn't be a prob.

And although stacks don't look good on aything but a diesel truck, I'm gonna put some on this, along with a chrome sun visor, and do a "big-rig" theme ( I am an OTR truck driver, after all)

Also, after trying to picture every bright color out there on it, but I don't think any would look good, so a deep metallic purple is what I wanna go with....

That's the 79 front end I got to replace my rusted out stuff.....

And now I'm cruising in this....

I did the black with spray paint since the truck wasn't an original flareside, but the truck had gray stripes, and the bottom of the bed was gray, so that's what I came up with to blend it all in.
