re: Off to the Painter (NEW PIX-warning:large)
been a while so I thought I'd throw down a quick update....
New grille/trim pieces weren't in the budget, at least for now, so we decided to paint our beat up trim in white. Sorry no pictures today... hopefully this weekend I'll have some time to put some up. Updates since last post:
1-installed new windshield and rear window (ok, I paid a shop $75 to install them).
2-Installed stock driver/passenger windows with new weather stripping
3- new weather stripping around doors
4-spray on bedliner
5-no more side moulding-had the holes filled prior to painting
6-hood side markers: painted white, filled the letters in with red. Trying to fabricate a light system so its not just a reflector.
7-hood letters painted white
8-grille & headlight bezels painted white with LMC billet grille inserts added
9-new headlights
10-"new" junkyard bumpers: front from a 67 and the rear from an 80's bronco (with some fabrication).
11-ordered some wheels that are supposed to be in this weekend. Got tires sitting in the garage begging to be put on.
12-new door panels/armrests
13-new rear side markers
Still Need to complete/find relpacements for:
-flooring
-headliner
-exhaust
-steering wheel
-hood side markers
-seat
I know, I know,

Re: re: Off to the Painter (NEW PIX-warning:large)
Funny you mention that... when we were getting the trailer they asked if we wanted to pay $7 for a "no fault damage waiver" for any damage that may happen to the trailer.customcrewcab wrote:nice i guess you didn't tell u haul what you would be towing
Needless to say I got the waiver, and uh, hehe, good thing I did because the the bump was wider than the trailer which bent the sh_ t out of the rails on it and even snapped one out about 6 inches
