Allan, Hey brother It was on page #3 about midway down in abrasives. It was $6.99 @ 50lbs "PLUS SHIPPING" which was around $29.33. So your total would be around $35-36.00..I AM TRULY SORRY IF I MISLEAD YOU, and others.........please accept my appoloiges.

I just didn't see the page links before...
I am going to see if I can find a local supplier so I don't gotta pay that high shipping.
The cost for that 6.99 bag ends up being right at $40 with shipping, which is a little more than I can get the same amount of media on sale at Harbor Freight for.
I know a person who used to live here (they just moved a couple of months ago).
They said they used "black stuff" on the farm they worked at. They got the stuff delivered by the ton. So I figure there has to be a local supplier.
I am gonna call a couple of body shops and see if there have any resources.
I'll let ya know if I come up with anything that could save us both some cash.

I also remember someone telling me that some of these powder mills for concrete truck, hope it helps, good luck.

you may want to look for actual sand blasting companies in the yellow pages. There is 4 or 5 within a 30 mile radius of here, if not more that 4 or 5. I bet some of which you could buy the media for a little over what they pay and they would be more than happy to make a couple bucks!
