update:
today i bought a big sheet of hardboard like material that im going to use for my headliner. i also went to the fabric store and bough a blue vynil material. im going to wrap the vyil around the hardboard with spray adhensive. i cant do it this weekend though because i dont have a anything that will cut the hardboard stuff withough screwing the ends up so my dad is bringing home a saw thing on monday. so that will have to wait.
i also went to NAPA and got a 8.00 antennae that fits perfect and looks original.
i also got more primer and white paintshop paint and painted my rear bumper. it was allready white but there was lots of surface rust and paint chips. so i repainted it and now it looks new.
BEFORE:
there will be another update coming shortly because i have scrubbed my rims, i might even paint them, and i armouralled my tires, and i got some really nice looking original hubcaps off of Damraider.
And of course my headliner project

well i went to the pick n' pull today but they wouldnt let me in. so my dad went in the a walkietalkie and told me what there was. there was no heater unit that i was looking for but, there was 3 bumps a couple dents, 2 custom emblems, good set of those really big mirrors, huge under dash a/c unit thing off of a ranger xlt(might go back and grab it) and a bunch of other stuff. see the forum about it in the general discussion to see pictures!
I got 60.00 worth of parts for $1.00
i got a brake warning light and the visor clip holder thing. i might go back for the a/c unit and to try to find a dome light switch plug.
ill get pictures of what i grabbed later. right now the camera doesnt have any batteries.
i got the brake warning light hooked up and the visor clip installed.

never seen the a/c lines routed through the cowl.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Looks like it's coming right along.
That's quite the large YAMAHA sticker in the back window. Are you a musician or do you like their motorcycles?

Looking good! What's the "tailgate lever cover thingy" you're talking about? I don't see what's missing from your tailgate lever.
Also... I don't think that brake warning light is supposed to be ON... it means there is not enough brake pressure or something. Did you wire it up to be on just for the picture?

oh and about the brake warning light,
i didnt rig the wiring to do that. i just turned the key once to the right(didnt turn the engine on though) to take a picture but it stayed on for about 25 seconds until i took the key out. i heard that it comes on for about 5 seconds and then it turns off, but is that when you have turned the engine and everything on? so what exactly does this light test? what is wrong with my brakes?

Hopefully Keith or someone can verify this... in my '67 it NEVER comes on, so I don't know if it works or if the bulb is burned out... I'll probably replace the bulb to be safe, but I'd like to know if it's supposed to come on and go off, or if that was a feature in later models...1971ford wrote:oh and about the brake warning light,
