right now you can probably grind/sand it to bare weld or he welded the holes in the floor. then primer and paint. some guyys have or are planning to have thier floors rhino lined or line xed.

Frame looks good. What did you paint it with? What primer?

Floor boards don't look too bad.

I painted with Valspar's Truck and Trailer line of heavy duty paints, found it at the local Tractor Supply. Its some thick stuff, thats for sure. I bought the matching metal primer. Only thing that sucks is that it takes forever to dry, you have to wait 24 hrs to recoat.
As for the floor, its probably a snap for someone who knows what they are doing, unfortunatly I dont.
I am going to get the front suspension done and back on the ground before I start tearing into the floor. Definitly getting rino lined, then sound insulated.

Jiminey Christmas that frame looks good !!!!

My floor pans were that bad with the same amount missing from the kick panels. Due to not having a welder at the time, my father and I cleaned them up real good, put duct tape on the underside of the floor to block the holes, and went to town with fiberglass all over the floor pans. It is still there, crack free after 13 years. Some of the duct tape is still underneath. I haven't pulled it off just for the souveneir value of it. Duct Tape is #1

Keep up the good work. The job of fixing the floor isn't as bad as u think. If it is going to be a little bit before you repair it you can shoot a lilttle rust encapsulator from east wood too keep it from getting any worse.

Well its been awhile since I updated, and I have been pretty busy. I have finished the front suspension and have put it all back together, sans shocks. I have also rebuilt the front brakes (agian, second time, and I have never even driven the thing), this time I did it right tho, everything new and painted.
I started mocking the front sheetmetal back up, gonna leave it removable as one peice so I can finish the cab floor and drop the motor in with ease. I also replaced the steering linkage and put my new p.s. gear in.
Its supposed to start getting cold here this week, so I am going to hone my welding skills inside and get ready to replace the floor pans.

Ok, its been a looong time since I updated, have done a lot since last time.
I am happy to say that I have almost reached the top of the rebuilding hill and am ready to coast down the other side, lol.
I had the floors fixed, and got em bedlinered today, what a difference that made. I have been collecting parts for the interior for awhile now, and now all I need is the carpet and headliner. Everything else is new, or fixed back up. Right now I just have to finish sanding kick panels and then the walls and I will be ready for interior paint. I have all new rubber seals and will install a new windshield also. All the other glass has been cleaned back to like new.
The motor was sent out for a rebuild on Saturday, should have it back next month.
I have another bed I am swapping out to, has a better floor than mine now.
Stripped the roof from door handles up, got er primed and sealed for now.
I am hoping to be driving the truck by the end of this year!
