Well, it has been a while since I have posted on my project. It has been on the back burner because I had lost interest in it, if it had been up to me I would have parted it out, but this is one thing my wife really likes and would rather I get it finished so we can go riding it again. Well I have been workin on it and glad I still have it. Here are a few pics of the progress. :D

The paint job on those valve covers is truly outstanding! Did you do that yourself?

Yea I did it with a small paint brush. I sprayed engine paint onto an old paint can lid, then just dipped the paint brush into it and painted the raised letters.
Thanks for the compliment. :D

Where did you get your floor-pans I was going to order mine along with some more sheet metal from Dennis Carpenter, as well as a few things from NPD heard they are about the same in quality just wondering what your opinion was. Also you did a nice job detailing your engine, like robroy said those valve covers are beautiful, looks to me like your doing a great job keep up the good work

Thanks for the compliment, the floor pans came from LMC. The metal seems a little thin to me, thinner than the original metal but they welded in fine. I don't have any experience with the other venders floor pans so I can't say how they compare, sorry. Maybe someone that has purchased from the others could let us know if there is a big difference in them :?

Not a problem you deserved the complinment, and I keep hearing that LMC panels are thinner think I'll go with NPD or DC, maybe I'll get another opinion or to as well.
Thanks come Christmas time and I will be welding in some floor pans :D
